Summary

We are looking to hire a Technical Project Manager to join our growing team! You’ll be responsible for providing leadership and direction on all assigned technical projects or project tasks, ensuring follow through from beginning to end. It will be important for you to ensure overall progress of assigned projects from inception to implementation.

What You’ll Do

  • Attend project meetings as required
  • Continually build internal relationships with departments or business segments to facilitate cooperation and project completion
  • Evaluate and thoroughly document requirements with project team, evaluating all project aspects, (e.g., staff, costs, benefits, timelines, etc.), and updating project plan and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide management with status reports detailing status and timelines throughout assigned project
  • Ensure project is ready for implementation and conduct a post-project review to make sure everything is running as expected
  • Identify project risks and develop contingency plans for these risks
  • Provide project leadership and direction on assigned projects, focusing on technical aspects in the Mobility world
  • Ensure overall progress of assigned projects from initiation to implementation
  • Keep up to date with assigned business segment products and services
  • Experience Coordinating projects departmentally or with cross-functional teams
  • Assist with maintaining established standards and approaches for each project (e.g. status
  • reporting, issue management, change control, etc.) and communicating to team members and stakeholders
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all project management deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create and maintain project files that are well documented, efficiently organized, and adhere to departmental policies and procedures for each phase of the project
  • Continuously monitor tasks and project assignments in progress, ensuring project schedule is being met and schedule changes are addressed and communicated by established deadlines
  • Communicate any schedule changes to affected parties while continually performing risk assessment

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, business administration, or MIS required.
    • Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements

Experience

  • Minimum of three years increasingly responsible project management experience required with an emphasis on technical capabilities preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Project and SharePoint preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of an Agile PDLC tracking tools (e.g., JIRA or Rally) is preferred

Starting salary for this position is expected between $60,000 and $63,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
