Intrado is seeking a strong Systems Developer who is an initiative-taker, eager to learn new tools and product and who is flexible and has ability to work within an environment that is fast paced and with a distributed team.
As a Systems Developer , your principal tasks will be:
- Provide technological knowledge and participate in group decision-making on technology related topics
- Assist in evaluating new requirements and work closely with development team to assess the needs and ensure the solution and platform are designed to be optimum
- Build and manage the various development and testing environments required by the team
- Create and maintain internal documentation on properly deploying and managing our solutions and platforms
- Support the development and production environments
- Work closely with developers and other team to help monitor and remediate infrastructure performance and security issues
- Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to help automate infrastructure and application deployment, testing, management, configuration, scale and monitoring, in Lab, data centers and cloud environments
- Use industry best practices to influence and create architecture standards
- Stay constantly aware of new trends and technologies Research new tools and techniques as appropriate, staying current with industry best practices;
Education
- University degree from an accredited institution with major course work in computer science. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
Experience
- Minimum three years' experience in System Engineer or related field required
- Minimum two years' experience in a similar position
Technique:
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, SCM & Agile process
- Experience with automations, scripting, CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Experience with operating systems (Linux/Windows) deployed on bare-metal or virtual machines
- Experience with Cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS and IBM);
- Experience with Ansible, Axway, Kubernetes & Docker
- Experience with programming languages – Python, Java/JavaScript, Selenium, Bash an asset
- Experience with monitoring tools such as NewRelic an asset

- Proficient spoken and written in English and French required
