Intrado has over 40 years of experience in safety services and 911 network engineering expertise. Today, the company is focused on transforming legacy Public Safety Answering Point operations and the entire 911 emergency response continuum through data-driven solutions. Integrating this data allows call takers, dispatchers, and first responders to make more informed decisions, respond quickly and safely, and ultimately serve their communities better.

Intrado is looking to hire an Account Manager to join our Carrier/Large Enterprise Accounts team.

Essential Duties:

  • Communicate frequently with our Customer Base evangelize our offering, maintain relationships, and expand our partnerships
  • Responsible for contract management, retention and upsell for existing customers
  • Through relationship building within customer accounts identify opportunities including adding new products/services
  • Drive Account Reviews with current customers to ensure client satisfaction and account optimization
  • Front Line support for customers for billing, service, technical issues – work with our internal partners (program managers, sales engineers, product/dev and technical teams) to ensure all issues/concerns are addressed
  • Support new products/initiatives, working closely with customer ops, CSMs and product team
  • Participate in major industry conferences and standards development groups when appropriate
  • Act as an advisor or consultant to Intrado’s existing Carrier customers regarding challenges around 911 location data management and call routing solutions

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business, information technology or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales role or account management position required
  • Required some experience in managing account relationships, identifying additional sales opportunities, and closing deals
  • Experience in Public Safety business development/sales preferred 
  • Outgoing personality and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work remotely / independently
  • Strong ability to self-start and multitask
  • Strong, Public Safety centric business acumen 
  • Excitement and passion for a rapidly evolving public safety environment
  • Adaptable to new workflows and responsibilities
  • Travel required, as needed

The hiring range for this position is anticipated between $90,000 – 100,000 per year and will be commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for quarterly bonuses. The total package at plan is $150,000 - $160,000.
